Spotlight on Vanessa Spittler: First Solo Show

We are thrilled to kick off the year by shining a light on one of our own, local abstract artist Vanessa Spittler, as she presents her first solo show. Vanessa’s work is a vibrant exploration of color, texture, and emotion, and her pieces have captured the hearts of many in our community.

In addition to her stunning acrylic paintings—where she has mastered the pour technique that leaves viewers and judges alike in awe of her work—Vanessa is also known for her creative versatility. She transforms reclaimed surfboards into beautiful works of art with acrylic painting and epoxy, blending coastal themes with a contemporary edge. Her talents extend to surf photography, where she captures surfers in action with dynamic and breathtaking shots. Vanessa also creates commissioned pieces, working closely with clients to design something truly special and meaningful just for them.

She has even developed a fun and playful line of handmade copper wire earrings called Beach Hair Don’t Care, adding yet another dimension to her artistic range. She is also quick to collaborate with other artists on special pieces, bringing her unique perspective and energy to every project. Her work can be found in galleries across the area, showcasing her talent and creativity to an ever-growing audience.
