Here on the island, we’re fortunate to have many talented artists who bring creativity to life through functional art. Among them are Melissa and John Piserak (M&J Pottery), a husband-and-wife team whose hand-formed stoneware work is as heartfelt as it is beautiful.

John works to support families and connect them with essential resources, while Melissa, a nurse, brings her compassion and care to those in need. They also volunteer their time to organizations that provide guidance and support to foster children and families in South Texas.
