I am currently in the process of reimagining Padre Island Art Gallery. My art gallery will soon transition to Evoke Studio & Gifts. Same Heart. New Space. Fresh Inspiration.
I write a weekly newspaper column and blog called The Art of Island Life.
I recently completed a voice-driven memoir-in-essays titled:
Things I’ve Learned While Herding Cats… and dogs.

It’s a giftable essay collection filled with humor and bits of wisdom I’ve gathered from the messier moments of life. Readers are invited into stories of reinvention, resilience, dog hair, and art gallery walls—served with a side of chocolate cake and perspective. It’s about starting over (and over again), choosing peace, and finding joy in the unexpected—complete with the occasional recipe and a few “Momisms” along the way.
It’s written for anyone navigating change—entrepreneurs, creatives, dog lovers, gallery goers, or anyone learning how to begin again with humor, heart, and a little grace.

I’ve also written a children’s picture book titled:
All Because Bella Was Brave, and I’m currently working on the illustrations.
I’m exploring publishing paths and next steps.
And for the extra curious, I’ve included links below to a few other things I’m up to—depending on the day and time.
