Welcome to My Artful Kitchen

For me, cooking has always been more than just preparing meals—it’s a creative outlet, much like painting. The kitchen is where flavors, memories, and inspiration come together, and every beloved tradition or new experiment becomes its own little masterpiece. When I feel stuck creatively in my studio, I often turn to cooking—it has a way of reigniting inspiration and bringing a sense of flow back into my day.

I am excited to share some of my tried-and-true family recipes—meals that bring people together around the table. Here, you’ll find a rotating selection of a complete meal, including a main dish, side, bread, and dessert. These recipes are some of my family's favorites—some are my own creations, while others have been passed down through generations and perfected over time—but all are enjoyed by both adults and children alike.

Be sure to check back often for new recipes as I continue to rotate in more of our family’s favorite dishes!

Halibut Ceviche

Halibut Ceviche

Light, zesty, and full of vibrant flavor—perfect for warm days and gatherings with friends.

This citrus-marinated ceviche is one of my favorite summer dishes. It’s bright, refreshing, and packed with clean, simple ingredients like avocado, tomato, and jalapeño. You can customize it with your favorite firm white fish—just make sure it’s incredibly fresh! There’s even a Mojito-inspired twist if you’re feeling adventurous.

Fresh Spinach Salad

Fresh Spinach Salad

A refreshing summer salad that’s as pretty as it is delicious! Baby spinach (or mixed greens), sweet strawberries, creamy cheese, and crunchy nuts come together with a tangy raspberry vinaigrette for a perfect blend of flavor and texture.

Simple Homemade Bread

Simple Homemade Bread

Soft, buttery, and perfect for garlic bread—easy enough for everyday baking.

This homemade bread is one of my go-to recipes—simple, soft, and full of flavor. It’s great fresh out of the oven or sliced and turned into grilled cheese sandwiches or cheesy garlic bread. I originally made it by hand, but now I use my bread machine—so much easier and just as delicious!

Banana Pudding

Banana Pudding

My grandmother’s classic recipe—sweet, creamy, and layered with love.

A family favorite for generations, this banana pudding is smooth, rich, and full of nostalgic flavor. Cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk give it a decadent twist, while layers of bananas and vanilla wafers make it the ultimate comfort dessert.
